I'm Noel Kirkpatrick (he/him), a copy editor based in Japan's Nara Prefectureby way of Tacoma, Washington.

I've worked as a professional editor and copy editor for more than 10 years. I even have a certificate in editing from the University of Washington's Professional & Continuing Education unit.

I've edited digital-first journalism at Treehugger (née Mother Nature Network) and ScienceAlert. I've also written and edited corporate learning and development materials for National Grid, FedEx, RTX, and AT&T, among others.

Now, I'm striking out on my own, helping all kinds of writers and organizations make sure their writing is clear, accessible, and as error-free as is humanly possible.
